The annual RNLI Christmas bucket collection, by kind permission of Tesco, Pembroke Dock, organised by Pembroke Ladies Guild, on December 8, raised £563.23.
The Guild sends its gratitude to Tesco and their customers for such a result.
The ladies of the Guild enjoy this festive collection, seeing supporters old and new at the end of the year and still so willing to give to the RNLI regardless.
Children, with their parents' guidance, so aware of the need to support the RNLI, is a joy to experience too - budding volunteers of the future hopefully!
Pembroke Ladies Guild wish to thank their hosts, guests, Mrs. Shirley Wheeler, Guild vice-president, Mr. Norman Edwards and staff of The Old King's Arms Hotel, Pembroke, local businesses, Ceris, Paul and staff at the Tenby, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Observer for ensuring that 2011 has been such a rewarding year for our fundraising in this locality. Best wishes to you all for Christmas and 2012 on behalf of the RNLI.
