Book publisher Malcolm Henson (MD) will be holding an event at the ‘Reading Room’ in Manorbier in May.
The free meeting to be held on Saturday, May 4, which will start at 2 pm and finish at 4 pm - is looking to gather local writers/authors, poets, artists, illustrators, Welsh/English speakers, and those with computer/business skills who wish to learn more about publishing.
Malcolm who is managing director at North Staffordshire Press spends time in the Pembrokeshire area which he first visited in 1972 as he and his wife have a caravan in Manorbier.
“Since 2005, North Staffordshire Press has published around 100 titles mostly by first time authors although our eldest writer is 98 and has published five titles!” said Malcolm.
“It is a free event and I will offer anybody with the skills some freelance work with North Staffordshire Press,” he added.
The ‘Reading Room’, formerly known as the village hall in Manorbier, was re-launched as a new cultural space back in 2016.
