Pupils from the special unit at Monkton Priory CP School enjoyed a guided trip around Pembroke Town Hall last week.

On arrival, the children were met by the Mayor of Pembroke, Clr. Melanie Phillips, who kindly gave them a tour of the historic building.

The children were most impressed by the interesting murals, the time they spent in the court room chamber and the parlour. Refreshments were kindly provided by the town clerk.

The pupils and staff of the special unit were very grateful to have the opportunity of visiting the town hall.
