Fairies, super heroes and Disney princesses were among the VIP guests at a 'Healthy Party' at Stackpole VC School on Friday.
Pupils at the village school chose to wear fancy dress for the event, which they organised to conclude their recent 'Celebration' topic.
The children made banners and bunting and decorated balloons.
The party also provided the opportunity for the nursery, reception and Year 1 and 2 classmates to use knowledge gained from the 'Health Matters' programme followed in school.
Pupils and their families brought party food from each of the five food groups. The children also enjoyed active party games.
Stackpole VC School base leader Mrs. Sandra Bryant said: "Healthy living is an important part of our learning programme.
"Our students are lucky to have excellent facilities on-site for healthy outdoor play and a school kitchen serving healthy meals.
"This party gave them a chance to apply their knowledge about healthy living to a real life experience.
"The children really enjoyed having ownership of this task and the party was the perfect finale for some really good work."
