Pembroke Town Council will thank its former town councillor Clr. Jon Harvey for his services to the council.Mr. Harvey who sensationally resigned at February’s meeting over a decision to leave a portrait of disgraced ex-mayor David Boswell portrait on the wall of the council chambers.
At that time only two members voted against the motion to turn the portrait around with these being Clr. Harvey and Clr. Aden Brinn.
During the meeting held last week, Clr. Brinn said: “I am very sad that he has resigned as he was a great asset to this town council.
“I propose we write a letter to thank him for his service to the town council.”
The move was unanimously backed by the council.
