Pembroke Town Councillors have raised concerns regarding the B4319 at St. Daniel’s Hill.

The issue was brought up by Clr. Aden Brinn at last Thursday’s (March 12) town council meeting.

Clr. Brinn said he had conducted a speed survey on the stretch of road last June and the police had also been there checking the speed of vehicles.

He proposed that the town council contact Pembrokeshire County Council asking them to reduce the speed limit from 40 to 30 mph.

Clr. Brinn also called for the speed reminder notices to be replaced on the road.

On a separate traffic issue, Clr. Brinn told members that he wanted the neighbourhood policing team to conduct educational messages to Valero drivers about their behaviour.

He added at that a resident had been in contact with him on numerous occasions about the issues.

Clr. Keith Nicholas made an amendment calling for the town council to write to the Dyfed-Powys Police inspector about the issues, which was passed by members.
