A CALL to keep a WeBuyAnyCar.com car sales pod at Morrisons car park in Haverfordwest has been approved by county planners.

In an application to Pembrokeshire County Council, Wm Morrison Supermarkets Ltd, through agent Peacock and Smith, sought retrospective permission. The sales pod having been erected on June 10.

A supporting statement by Whittam Cox Architects on behalf of Wm Morrison Supermarkets Ltd said: “Careful consideration has been placed in the positioning of the pod to ensure that there is no disruption to vehicular and pedestrian circulation and that site will continue to operate as existing.”

The statement added: “WeBuyAnyCar.com purchase vehicles from the general public, as a quick easy sale, offering customers an alternative to private sales.”
