Unauthorised seating and signage that have been placed on the Brynhir site in Tenby are to be removed from the land, Pembrokeshire County Council have informed local councillors.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, the town clerk, Andrew Davies, told members that the authority were proposing to remove the items from the land that has been earmarked for development.
Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter felt it was a shame that the seating was to be removed as it was an added attraction for anyone wanting to sit down and look at the view.
The Mayor, Clr. Laurence Blackhall, believed that the seats had been placed there from time to time down the years and that they were not a response to the planning application.
“I don’t think they’re protest seats as such, even though the banners are,” he commented.
