Planning permission has been granted for a new home on land in Cold Blow.

An application for a “substantially single storey” house with a two-storey wing with the master bedroom upstairs was approved on Tuesday, July 28.

Members of the Pembrokeshire County Council planning committee received a planning report that stated that this application replaced a previously approved plan for a two-story house from 1999.

The new house on land to the south east of Holly Blue House in the hamlet of Cold Blow, near Narberth, will have a mix of external finishes including rendered walls and larch timber cladding.

Blue/black slate will be used for the roof with dark grey aluminium window frames and a garden to the side and rear of the “irregular shaped” piece of land.

It is lower in height than the previously approved house but of a larger footprint although not considered to have an “overbearing impact” on neighbouring houses.
