An appeal will be heard later this month for a planning application to redvelop Llanteg Service Station.
The plans submitted by applicant EuroGarages for a redevelopment of the existing petrol filling station comprising demolition of the existing filling station and adjacent bungalow for the erection of a replacement forecourt canopy, pump island, underground tanks, parking, landscaping and sales building, were refused last year after going before Pembrokeshire County Council’s planning committee.
The plans would also see a new store, office, WC, and drive thru, erected at the site.
Amroth Community Council raised objections to the plans at the time.
The hearing which will be conducted by a Planning Inspectorate appointed by the Welsh Government will take place at 10 am on Tuesday, August 21 at Llanteg Village Hall.
It is anticipated that the hearing, which is open for members of the public to attend, will last for one day.
Disabled access into the building and parking facilities are provided.
The Local Authority and appellant’s statements and comments are available to be viewed via the Planning Inspectorate website at (https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/) by searching under the seven digit Planning Inspectorate reference number: 3197902
Alternatively the documents can also be viewed at County Hall Reception, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 1TP, weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm (subject to GDPR requirements).
