Plans to increase the size of Hubberston and Hakin community Centre have been granted planning permission by Pembrokeshire County Council.
An application for an extension and reconfiguration of the community centre on Church Road, Hubberston, has been signed off by council planning officers on August 3.
It will see the floor space increase by more than 100 square metres and the relocation of facilities such as toilets relocated to allow for a larger kitchen area to be provided.
The plan had the support of Milford Haven Town Council and there were no objections from highways or other statutory bodies.
A condition on the extension permission relates to the submission of surface water disposal and an assessment to ensure adequate drainage is provided.
Last month the centre was awarded an Enhancing Pembrokeshire grant of £25,000, funded by second home council tax premiums, to go towards solar panels and a new boiler, along with other energy efficient measures.
