This summer’s exhibition at St. Johns Church Hall by the painting members of the Tenby and District Arts Club will be original water colour, oil, pastel or acrylic works by, Janet Clarke, Harry Gardiner, Yvonne Mannings, Margaret McCracken, Jane Parker, Carol Brinton Thomas, Francis Phillips, Susan Rees, Sandra Parker, Marlene Williams, Maureen Rogers, Anne Rollings, Ronda Thomas, Anita Williams, and of course by probably the club’s best known member, Graham Hadlow, who has also donated an original water colour painting of Tenby to be raffled for club funds.
These funds enable the club to pay for the visits of the many and varied speakers who come to the meetings each Friday in the winter months to inform and entertain both the members and anyone else who would be most welcome to attend.
So, as well as over 60 framed paintings hanging on the walls, each artist has been invited to show a selection of unframed original works, which means these also will be able to be sold and the purchaser will be free to choose their own frame from the many excellent local picture framers.
The show will be open daily from 10 am - 5 pm (except Sundays and Friday mornings) from tomorrow (Saturday) until Saturday, July 20.
As always with this body of work by these talented local artists, it will be well worth a look and there is no charge to view.
