Having undergone treatment for prostate cancer, Meurig undertook a mammoth challenge over three days last August, driving a modern tractor on a 400 mile round trip from Fishguard through Ireland and back via Holyhead and West Wales.

Throughout the summer he continued fundraising at a number of local agricultural shows and events. Meurig’s challenge raised over £17,000 for the charity.

Cai was inspired to raise money for Prostate Cymru in support of his grandfather Hayward Jones who is being treated for prostate cancer. He raised an incredible £1600 for the charity.

Cai is continuing his fundraising by holding a Grand Raffle which will be drawn in November as well as other events during the year.

During the afternoon The Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru presented a cheque for £75,000 to the charity.
