Local farmers are invited to the next Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru county meeting, on Thursday, November 26, at Agriculture House, Haverfordwest.
Starting at 8 pm, the meeting will be an opportunity to provide an update to local members on some of the current issues affecting the industry in the county including the Basic Payment Scheme, Rural Development Programme Wales (RDP), Bovine TB, potential Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (NVZ) designation in the county and NFU Cymru lobbying within the dairy, red meat and arable sectors.
Simon Richards, Pembrokeshire NFU Cymru county chairman said, “The meeting is open to all NFU Cymru members and I do hope we will get a good turnout as your opinion is important to us and really does count. Please also encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.”
