Pembroke Under 10s welcomed Crymych at the weekend for an eagerly-awaited fixture.

Pembroke won the toss and elected to kick-off, giving Crymych the advantage of the slope for the first half.

Conditions were very soft, but both teams were keen to play open rugby. The first half was very physical, with both teams defending well with some strong tackling.

Pembroke claimed the advantage with the only try of the first half.

The second half saw Pembroke score a further try, after several phases of play created gaps in the Crymych defence.

Crymych responded with a deserved try late in the game.

Final score was 10-5 in Pembroke's favour, giving a well-deserved victory against a strong and well-organised Crymych side.
