A student from Pembroke has been ‘lording’ it up in the animation suite, producing his very own homage to popular TV series Game of Thrones.

A year ago Daniel Smith, of Castlemartin, completed his two year course in Pembrokeshire College, and for his final major project he chose to create an animation of Pembrokeshire in the style of the Game of Thrones title sequence.

“I hoped to promote Pembrokeshire in a way that hadn’t been done before,” explained Daniel.

The animation which features Pembroke and Carew Castles, as well as St Davids Cathedral, has received thousands of views on YouTube.

“I have been so surprised at the reception over the last year!” continued Daniel, who is about to start the second year of his three year course in the University of South Wales in Cardiff, studying Graphic Communication in hopes of finding a career in Graphic Design.
