At last Thursday's dinner meeting, members of the Rotary Club of Pembroke enjoyed the company of District Governor, Mr. Bob Lewis, and his wife, five pupils from Pembroke School, together with Mr. Bob Jones, head of year.

The Rotary Club had sponsored these pupils to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Course at Dolygaer Centre, near Merthyr Tydfil, from August 12 - 17.

The pupils, Cerys Cole, Rebecca Thomas, George Kenniford, George James and James Radmore, were presented with their achievement certificate by the District Governor, Mr. Bob Lewis.

Each pupil expressed their gratitude to the Rotary Club for their sponsorship and emphasised the benefit they had derived from this experience.

Mr. Bob Jones, head of year, also thanked the Rotary Club for their continued support to the school.
