Last Saturday night, two juniors and five seniors from Pembroke Kickboxing Club competed in a kickboxing show against Red Dragons Kickboxing Club in Neath.
Pembroke had four wins, two losses and a draw. Aeron and Harvey Keane (juniors) showed outstanding talent, as they have only been training for 12 months, and both won their bouts convincingly.
In the senior section, Tristan Walsh won his debut bout, Will Warren and Martin Jones put up excellent performances, but narrowly lost on points, Dean Saunders fought a tough bout on his debut, ending in a draw, and Dan Thomas again had a tough bout, winning unanimously at the end of three rounds.
Coaches Carl Keane, Scott Keane and Kaycee Blake were amazed at the club's performance and dedication.
