With summer having now slipped by, a colourful art exhibition is opening at The Little Gallery in Main Street, Pembroke, tomorrow (Saturday), appropriately entitled 'Autumn Glow'.

Not surprisingly, all the artists' works reflect an autumnal theme.

The exhibition has been put together by Dorothy Morris, artist and curator of the gallery, who says she is delighted to exhibit alongside several eminent artists.

These include Esther Tyson, Graham Brace, and Sarah Hopkins, not to mention Carys and Alan Roberts, Charlotte Leadbeater, Sarah Rhys, Paul Stokle, Patricia McParlin, Nina Morgan, Lindy Elliot, Valerie James, Glesni Williams and up-and-coming Valerie Price-West.

Many of the artists have an international reputation, while others are popular local artists whose work has brought them considerable acclaim.

Among them Graham Brace, who said: "I am a full-time professional landscape and seascape artist and illustrator living in Llangwm in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Inspired by the superb coast and countryside around me, I work in mixed media, but mainly in coloured pencil. I'm widely regarded as a leading exponent of this medium and I have worked on major illustration projects for many conservation and heritage bodies as well as projects for leading pencil manufacturers, Derwent (The Cumberland Pencil Company). My work has been widely published."

The exhibition runs until October 20 and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.

"I hope people will enjoy the results," said Dorothy.
