The July monthly meeting took place at St. Johns Community Hall, Pembroke Dock, on Wednesday, July 11.

The chairman, Mrs. Sheila Rowlands, welcomed each member. The meeting was opened by holding a one minute's silence in memory of a faithful member, Mrs. May Windale; she will be very sadly missed.

The guest speaker could not attend due to unforeseen circumstances, so at short notice, Mrs. Peggy Childs provided a very interesting and entertaining quiz.

Thanks were given to the three members who attended the tea bar at Withybush Hospital. Thanks were read out from the Blood Transfusion Service for the help which Townswomen gave at the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock session.

Tea hostesses for the evening were Kathy Harries and Ivy Hodge. The raffle was won by Mary Dooley.
