In the latest round of the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Quiz League, the Naval Club set a good quiz, reflected in the scores when the result in all the matches could have gone either way.

The tightest game was at the First and Last, where the home team were defeated by the Con Club, with just one point between the sides.

At St. Govan's, the lead changed several times, before the Station B secured their first win when the home side were forced into going for six pointers in the last round.

At the Charlton, the B side overcame Cosh Brewery by six points, while at the Alma, the A team went down to the Charlton A by 10 points.

The Oak unfortunately could not field a team, so the Alma were awarded a win as per the rules.

The results leave two unbeaten teams, the Alma B and the Charlton A, who both have nine points, along with the Charlton B, who head the table by virtue of having played one game more, thus accumulating more quiz points.

The Alma A and Con Club have six points, with the remaining teams all on three points.

The results for the week were: St. Govan's 77 Station B 89; Charlton B 88 Cosh Brewery 82; First and Last 78 Con Club 79; Alma A 79 Charlton A 89; Oak 0 Alma B 86. The Station A had a bye and the question setters were Naval Club.
