Pembroke Rotary Club enjoyed its annual Christmas dinner at Lamphey Court Hotel. After dinner, president Jonathan presented Rtn Dennis Jones with a Paul Harries Fellowship award in recognition of his services to the club and local community.

Following his presidency, Dennis has developed the club's 'youth' programme, including school competitions and the Rotary Young Leaders Awards, which have become immensely popular in the local schools. The club - through Dennis's leadership - is delighted to help the development of young people.

Dennis is also very active in raising funds and obtaining sponsorship for club events.

President Jonathan said: "I am delighted to make this well deserved award on behalf of the club which recognises Dennis's commitment to our community over a number of years. I am also grateful for the invaluable help he has given me during my term in office."
