“This event couldn’t go ahead without the safety support crew which help us monitor all the swimmers in the water,” said Chris.
“I would like to thank Martin and Mick from Tenby and Saundersfoot Sailing Clubs, Rob John of Pembroke Paddlers, Emmit and Kevin from Tenby Surf and rescue, Philip John of Tenby RNLI who all do an amazing job all year round.
“Thanks go to David Lewis from Hean Castle Estate, and also a big thank you to Dr Anne Alison and the Cariad team of paramedics. Thank you also to Andrew and Claire for allowing us to host a successful night at St Brides Hotel and Spa,” he continued.
Lastly Chris thanked Andrew from Wiseman’s Bridge Rowing Club and the many numerous volunteer kayakers and marshals who helped on the day.
Next year’s event will start with the FootStep Run on the Friday, July 12, then on the following day, the third TenFoot Swim along with a half swim from Monkstone Beach to Saundersfoot known as the TenFootHalf, will also take place.
