Over 300 tickets have been sold for a special comedy charity quiz to be hosted by comedian and presenter Rhod Gilbert in Tenby.

Rhod is taking time out of his UK stand-up tour, to attend Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion on Saturday, March 16 to host ‘Pembrokeshire’s Funniest Comedy Quiz’ with finds raised on the night going towards The Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.

“We’ve sold over 300 tickets for the quiz hosted by Rhod Gilbert, which will be the night after we’ve hosted the ‘Pembrokeshire Police Awards’ another prestigious event for the De Valence,” Deputy mayor, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown told her colleagues at Tuesday night’s meeting of Tenby town council.

“We’ve also been upgrading the venue’s stage lighting which should be finished by the end of March, and six new members were elected to the De Valence’s trust at our AGM this week,” she added.
