The Hundleton annual run of vintage tractors entered its fifth year this year, and each year, the number of tractors taking part has increased, from 55 last year to 105 this year.
After leaving Hundleton, the convoy trundled the back roads through St. Twynells, before arriving at the Castlemartin tank training range, where, by kind permission of the Army, they were escorted the 15 miles across the range, which took in spectacular views of the South Pembrokeshire coast not normally seen by the public.
After stopping at the watering hole at Bosherston tearooms/pub, the convoy travelled through Stackpole and Maidenwells, arriving back at Hundleton after covering 26 miles.
Although sponsorship was not requested, donations and raffle totalled £1,000, which was donated to the Help for Heroes fund. Grateful thanks are extended to all who took part.
