Ben, a Reception pupil at Lamphey Primary School, proudly shows a photograph and blazer badge worn by his great-grandfather from the 1948 Olympics.
Frank Donovan played for Britain on two occasions during the 1948 games and narrowly missed out on a medal as the team was beaten 3-1 by Yugoslavia in the semi-finals. In that game Frank scored the only goal for Britain.
On finding out about Frank Donovan from Ben, headteacher Mr. Simon Thomas said: "It was rather a shock for me to find out that a great-grandfather of one of the pupils was an Olympian. All the pupils have really enjoyed seeing the jersey and badges worn by Frank during the games - a true Pembrokeshire hero."
