A native of the town, during her working life, Maureen was a loyal employee of Ann Stephens and Co., Allensbank, Narberth, for 32 years, being known to many throughout the county for her work and dedication.
As well as her devoted family and close friends, among her main interests were her beloved cottage and garden, and fitness classes - spinning, hit and gym. She also enjoyed holidays abroad, and was treasurer to Narberth AFC, past treasurer to Narberth Cricket Club, and a member of the Narberth Cancer Research Committee.
As well as her partner Nigel, family left to mourn are Dorothy John (mother), Gwyneth and Mike Johns (sister and brother-in-law), James and Shauna John (brother and sister-in-law), Matthew and Kerrie Johns, David and Amy Johns, Callum and Megan John (nephews and nieces), Noah, Jacob, Oliver and Molly Johns (great-nephews and nieces) and extended family members and close friends in Pembrokeshire and beyond.
The funeral service was held on Friday, November 18, at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, with Mo’s ashes being interred in the grave of her late brother Roland.
Officiating were Rev. Michael Rowlands and Rev. Elwyn John, while bearers were Matthew and David Johns and Callum John (nephews).

The death occurred suddenly on Monday, December 5, at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, of Mr. Brian Thomas Hodder. He was aged 80 and of New Hedges.

As reported last week, the death occurred peacefully at Belmont Court Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 29, of Mrs. Mary Frances Ball. She was aged 97.

The death occurred tragically at his home on Saturday, November 26, of Mr. Martyn David Shipton, of Meyrick Street, Pembroke Dock. He was 41.

Our family would like to formally invite friends of Mark’s to celebrate his life, following Mark’s peaceful passing on November 24, aged 64-years-old.
Locally, Mark was known through his dedication to his family-run business, Original Tile & Bathrooms Centre in Pembroke, where he created the shop from scratch to what it still is today.
