Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, kind-hearted bikers, the 3 Amigos, had to cancel their much-loved motorycle charity toy run this year.

Always a popular event in the festive calendar, the annual run normally sees hundreds of motorcyclists travelling through many of the county’s towns before delivering toys and gifts for local children’s wards and charities.

However, like most things this year, the event had to be put on the back burner, as “we had to ensure everyone’s safety during these tough times,” said one of the organisers, Terry Morris.

“We were disappointed that we could do nothing for the sick and disabled children of Pembrokeshire, but having spoken with Withybush Children’s Ward, Glangwili Children’s Ward and Action For Children, it was mentioned that there were a few necessities needed at all three.

“So, instead of the toys, this year we decided to donate £1,000 to each of them to help make Christmas a little brighter.

“We apologise to all our supporters for cancelling, we know how everyone looks forward to the run,” he added, “but we had to do our bit to keep everyone safe.

“We would like to thank you all for your kind messages and support and wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas.

“2021 sees our 20th anniversary and after the disappointment of this year, we are now looking forward to making this run bigger and better,” concluded Terry.
