I have just been down to the tyre depot at the Salterns and I was amazed to see that someone has erected a brand new blue metal fence around a neighbouring property.

It has been constructed in a way that surely contravenes all planning laws. The fence runs across the pavement completely cutting off access to the safety of the pavement.

This is an area of garages and big delivery vehicles and the area has been made extremely dangerous. Our town councillors cannot have inspected it or they would have objected to the planning application.

If it were not so obviously an expensive fence, I would have thought it a joke.
