Thanks to fundraising from three Pembroke Rugby Club winter quizzes and a very generous donation from Councillor Melanie Phillips (in memory of her father and club stalwart Mervyn) the new defibrillator machine has now been installed.
Mel is pictured alongside the defib outside the clubhouse and very soon a small plaque will be placed above the machine carrying Mervyn’s name to recognise her donation.
The training for club members and some people from local businesses and community will take place at the clubhouse in early April; the machine will then become a valuable community asset.
