"It has taken so long to get here and it wouldn't have happened without the hard work and dedication of the committee who stuck with the project through thick and thin," she stated.
"I would like to add thanks to Pembroke Dock Town Council and a special thanks to the town clerk, Moira Saunders, who worked over and above the call of duty, Communities First, Pembrokeshire County Council and Go4it. We now start looking for funding for the next stage - a skate park.
"I'm so pleased that the park is now home to such a brilliant track - I don't know of a better one in West Wales!"
"It was a long process to get it built, but the hard work of the Friends of the Park has clearly paid off," added Pembrokeshire Coast National Park discovery ranger Tom Moses.
