Narberth Youth Theatre will be holding an ‘Open Audition Call’ tomorrow (Saturday) at the Queen’s Hall.

The event will take place between 11 am and 2 pm.

It has been nearly eight years since NYT was formed and we want to celebrate our achievements to date, as well as invite new members to be a part of our future.

Shakespeare once wrote - ‘All the worlds a stage…’ and NYT agrees 100 per cent, as they love to step out and challenge themselves whenever they get the opportunity.

Over the years the NYT have performed in a car showroom, a local museum, on the streets of Narberth and in many other weird and wonderful places!

This year will be no different, and to know more, pop along to their free open audition day on Saturday.

The audition schedule is as follows:

11 am - Junior Session (Primary aged 7-11 years): Join us for a 45 minute introduction to NYT Juniors. A creative play and performance based class for all abilities. Fun-tastic and plenty of drama guaranteed.

12 pm - Seniors 1 Session (Secondary Year 7-9): A 1 hour introduction to performance for stage and film. Join us for an interactive and immersive skills-based class for those interested in working with other like-minded young people.

1 pm Seniors 2 Session (Secondary Year 10-13): Fancy being a part of a national youth arts festival for Wales in April. Yes, NYT is going to be part of Rawfest Wales 2019 Cardiff. Join us for a 1 hour open audition call for young actors interested in developing their skills in performance. This group also supports and nurtures young people taking GCSE/ A Level drama and music.

Members of NYT will be attending the audition day to answer questions from potential new members.
