The ladies’ choir is meeting once again every Monday night at the Bloomfield Centre and is on the hunt for new members.
“It was so wonderful to be back together making music,” said chairwoman Claire Dunbar.
“We had really missed the camaraderie and joy that you get from singing in a group. Being in a choir has known benefits for your mental health and it is two hours of mindfulness.”
The choir is now rehearsing in the large sports hall and is taking all Covid precautions necessary.
“We are sitting further apart than we used to and we are using a large, airy hall,” continued Ms Dunbar.
“We are very mindful that some people are nervous about getting together but we are taking every step possible to stay safe and we felt that now was the right time to return.
“We usually have a big charity Christmas concert but we’ve not been practising long enough to pull that off this year – however we do hope to at least sing some carols in Narberth to help a local charity.”
Serendipity is on the lookout for new members (no audition necessary). Check out their Facebook page to find out more and to get in contact.
