Models galore - from ships, trains and planes to military scenarios and spacecraft - all will be on display when the Penfro Model Club stages its first-ever model show on Saturday, March 30, in Pembroke Dock.
The club’s debut show is being held at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre and five other model groups plus many individual modellers are supporting the Penfro club. There will be up to 40 tables with displays.
Penfro’s Peter Mitchell said: “It’s a first for us and a sellout - we are delighted with the promised turnout, from all over south-west Wales. There will be something to interest everyone and we think this will prove to be a big draw.
“Penfro Modellers are having a table demonstrating model building and there will be working railway layouts too. All proceeds will go to two local charities - the Heritage Centre and HOPE in Neyland.”
Admission will be £1 for adults and free for young people under 16. Entry to the Heritage Centre will be free on the day.
Penfro Model Club meets every third Wednesday at the Heritage Centre, located in the Royal Dockyard Chapel, Meyrick Owen Way, Pembroke Dock. For further information contact Peter Mitchell on 01646 689783.
