This weekend is a very busy one at Pennar Community Church, meeting in Bethany Chapel and schoolroom.

Saturday sees the last Messy Church of this year. At 11 am on Saturday morning a 'Happy Birthday Jesus' party is being held with lots of games, crafts, fun and food.. and a warm welcome is extended to anyone aged under 99!

Sunday morning's service will be led by Rev. Roger Hart, whilst at 6 pm, a Christingle service will be held.

Christingle originated in Germany in the mid 18th century when a Moravian church leader devised a creative service whereby the message of Christmas could be portrayed in the Christingle. This a creation based on an orange symbolically decorated and then used as a table centrepiece for Christmas dinner.
