Sir,

I do not recall the letter regarding the loss of the librarian and library at Greenhill School having received an answer from either the school itself or from Pembrokeshire County Council.

Pupils and parents (and even grandparents) are entitled to know why the school is losing such a valuable asset.

Why does the school still maintain a large senior staff team plus a PA (personal assistant, I presume) to the headmistress when the pupil numbers are falling and the budget doesn’t stretch to a vital requirement such as the librarian and the library?

May we have answers please? Our sixth formers need the library to study quietly also.

Name and

address supplied.
