I understand from last week’s paper that there is a suggestion that the weekly street market should be brought back for the summer season.

I would like to say how much my husband and I enjoyed coming to the market, when it was on, on a Wednesday. The town had a great atmosphere, and it appeared to bring more people, both locals and visitors, into the centre, which must have been good for both the traders and the local shops.

We missed it when it stopped, and now we no longer have a reason for coming to Tenby on a Wednesday. We hope the council decide to bring it back.
