A man fell into Bosherston Lily Ponds last Wednesday afternoon. St. Govans and Tenby Coastguard Rescue Teams and the Pembs. sector manager assisted him until ambulance personnel arrived.

Aged 66, he was staying in Laugharne with his daughter and was from Blanford, Dorset.

The gentleman had been on the bank when he fell into the water head first, sustaining injuries and deep gashes to his lower legs. He was taken to Withybush Hospital for treatment.
