Five members of Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team have successfully completed a sponsored bike ride from Snowdon to Tenby to raise money for Hafal.

Hafal is Wales’ leading charity for people with serious mental illness and their carers.

The cyclists - PCSOs Andrew Griffiths, Geraint Lewis, Craig Thomas, Jim Moffat and Graham Kendall - covered just over 200 miles in four days.

They finished at Tenby’s Hafal Resource Centre which was celebrating its 20th anniversary and were given a civic welcome by the Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane.

The anniversary celebration included an open day with information stands from Hafal’s partners and services, along with music from local musician Colin Bell.

“I would like to thank the PCSO team on this amazing achievement, on behalf of Hafal, myself and its members,” said Stephen Roberts, recovery practitioner/project co-ordinator at the centre. “What they have done is brilliant and we really do appreciate it all. I would also like to thank everyone who came along and helped and supported this double celebration. It really was a wonderful day.”
