With only a week to go before the inaugural TenFoot Swim, organisers are busy making final plans for the event.

Chris Williams has again been on his travels to three local businesses who have thrown their financial weight around this much anticipated event.

Chris said:“As we get closer to the swim, the anticipation is growing. As an organising committee, we are delighted so many businesses are becoming involved for two worthwhile cause. The support from commercial sponsors will ensure every penny raised from the entry fee will be donated to the two charities.”

The TenFoot Swim is a 5k charity swim from Tenby to Saundersfoot in aid of Bloodwise and the Rory Rogers Fund taking place on July 15. Taking place at the same time as the swim will be the TenFoot Trek, a charity walk following the route of the swim from Tenby to Saundersfoot via the coastal path, also supporting Bloodwise and the Rory Rogers Fund.

If you would like to help this event, the organisers are looking for volunteers on the day to act as spotters on land and sea and competent kayakers to assist our safety team in the water. If you are interested in helping out, please email your details to [email protected]

TenFoot Trek t-shirts are still on sale at Topaz and The Chemist Inn priced at £15 - only certain sizes are left.
