Air Trooper Craig Potter, of the Army Air Corps (pictured centre in light blue beret) from Pembroke, returned last week to say goodbye to Pembroke Squadron Air Cadets.

Craig was a cadet at the squadron for four years and stated that the experience gained as an air cadet had helped him complete his army training.

On passing out, Craig gained the award for top marksman, and will be off to Kenya soon for acclimatisation training, before he is deployed to Afghanistan as either ground-crew or door-gunner on helicopters.

The cdets and staff of 1574 Squadron, Pembroke Air Cadets wish Craig all the best for his future in the army, and a speedy and safe return from overseas.

The Pembroke Air Cadets are always taking on new cadets, aged 13 years old and over.
