From tomorrow (Saturday) there will be a Living Advent Calendar in the village of Penally.
At least one window will be decorated by the family and lit from 5 to 10 pm each night.
Those windows will then remain lit every evening throughout December, but will be joined by new ones every night.
Penally villagers will have their own copy of a map and leaflet, showing the dates when each window will be lit. This will guide them around the village to see the lighted windows.
Visitors can pick up a copy of the map and leaflet, for a £1 donation to Paul Sartori, from Penally Village Shop, The Cross Inn and The Paddock Inn.
The event will finish on Christmas Eve with a crib service in Penally Church at 3.30 pm, followed by a walk around the village to see all the windows and then refreshments in the Village Hall from 4.30 to 6 pm.
Many of the lights will stay on for Christmas and New Year.
