The Special Learning Centre at Pembroke School recently held a cake and coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was organised by Rose Probert, teaching assistant at the school, and was held in memory of Mr. Wyn Davies, whose son, Andrew Davies, a PE teacher at Pembroke School, is shown presenting £182.50 to Auriol Scourfield, treasurer to the Pembrokeshire Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Andrew Davies thanked the pupils and staff on behalf of his mother, Mrs. Sue Davies, and his extended family.
Mrs. Scourfield said the monies raised through the kindness and generosity of the Special Learning Centre would be used to help people in Pembrokeshire who are living with cancer.
