An art exhibition, which shows it's never too late to learn, has gone on display at Pembroke Dock Library.

The showcase features the work of students, who have attended Learning Pembrokeshire's art classes at the Pembroke Dock Community Learning Centre.

The adult learners, who range in age from their early 20s to their 80s, have been tutored in various genres - including drawing, oils, pastels and watercolours - over the past year.

The exhibition, which runs throughout March, was opened by Clr. Huw George, Cabinet Member for Education, last Friday.

"This is a celebration of the learning and skills which students have acquired by attending these classes," he said. "The work on display is testament to their hard work and also the effort and patience of their tutor."

The library gallery is open Mondays and Fridays, 9.30 am to 7 pm, Tuesday to Thursday 9.30 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 9.30 am to midday.
