The Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Angle stretched over four days.
The village started on Thursday evening with an event at The Old Point House pub, recently taken over and re-opened by the owner of Café Môr. The evening commenced with a big gun salute and involved a Best Dressed Boat in the Bay competition, seafood BBQ and a live band.
On Friday a sandcastle competition was held on the beach with over 30 amazing structures being created, followed by a Right Royal Quiz in the evening at the other village pub, The Hibernian, a sold out event.

On Saturday the Village Hall was the venue for an Afternoon Tea and Tabletop Sale with live music events at both pubs in the evening.
Finally, on Sunday, a ‘Wheelie Rally’ processed through the village, with participants donning fancy dress and decorating wheelbarrows, bikes etc. for the event. The parade was led by the amazing Samba Doc Band who really made this a special event. A ‘picnic in the park’ event had been planned to follow the parade, with family games such as egg and spoon race. The weather put paid to the picnic, but the games still went ahead.
