A 51-year-old retired police officer from Pembroke is putting his body on line - all in aid of a good cause.
Jeff Davies, who now works as a gym and fitness class instructor at Pembroke Leisure Centre, will be taking part in the 'Offa's Dyke Challenge', a 177-mile charity run and cycle which covers the border between Wales and England in just seven days.
The challenge begins on September 18 and Jeff will be covering it on a mixture of bike and foot - terrain and peak dependant.
He is raising money for the chemotherapy day unit at Withybush Hospital and sponsor forms are available at Pembroke Leisure Centre or from [email protected]">[email protected]
