On Sunday (August 4) ‘Jayne’s afternoon tea’ was held at Dyffryn Taff School to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

Organised by Jayne Phillips, Nigel John, Laura Cooke, Janette Morgan-Foley, Richard Lewis, Donna James, Melvin Thomas, Gerwyn Richards, Paul Hughes, Paul Burt, the Whitland Male Choir Côr Meibion Hendygwyn and Taff Valley Cycling Club and many others (too numerous to mention), the event raised over £3,000, bringing the total raised by the Choir to over £11,500 so far.

The organisers would like to express their thanks to all volunteers missed off the list, and to all those who attended.
