After 12 years of hard work from members of the community in Jameston, the extension to the old mission room is being opened tomorrow (Saturday).

The new community hall has a meeting/computer room, kitchen and disabled access toilets connected to the space of the mission room.

Funding has been secured to renovate the old hall in the near future, but in the meantime many exciting events and classes will be taking place in the community hall on a regular basis.

These will range from sugar craft to exercise classes and art groups.

All are welcome to come to see the hall and its new spaces, sign up for classes or even volunteer to run a class or event on Saturday from 2-5.15 pm. Refreshments will be available, and the event will include the Jameston Community Association annual general meeting, which will take place at 4.30 pm. Come and see what can be achieved with years of team work and dedication!
