Emergency rescue teams went to the aid of a 52-year-old holidaymaker who fell and injured herself while at the top of Pembroke Castle's main tower on Tuesday afternoon.
Ambulance staff from Pembroke Dock, coastguard team members from St. Govan's and Tenby, along with South Pembs. sector manager, and Rescue 169 from RAF Chivenor were called to the historic landmark shortly after 4.30 pm.
The injured woman was on holiday with her family from Welwyn, Hertfordshire.
