May I through your pages say a few words to thank all the people who helped to make my Plough Penny Pink Tea a great success.

To all the people who came along despite the unseasonal weather. To Bella Chandley, without whose help this would have been a very different event.

To my daughters Sarah, Anna and their partners, who worked tirelessly to get the garden shipshape and in the preparation of the event. To Adexsi UK and B.V. Rees, Cardigan, for their kind sponsorship. To all the local business who provided raffle prizes and Richwood Joinery for a beautiful handmade table, our silent auction prize.

To all the people who loaned us tables and equipment. The ladies and gentlemen who ran the stalls. Not forgetting the ladies who baked us wonderful scones and cakes. For all the donations of tombola and bric a brac. Plus all the kind people who gave me donations because they couldn‘t make it.

It was a wonderful day, people were kind and generous and together we made £2,500 for the fight against cancer.

Well done my friends for this tremendous effort.
